Executive Education and Consulting
For firms such as KPMG, Accenture and Diamond Consultants, Marvin Zonis has created, organized and participated in corporate programs to prepare executives to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities that global business now face.
These in-house programs have covered a number of topics, but emphasize teaching leaders how to understand and navigate successfully in the international political economy.
Professor Zonis's expertise in this area stems from his decades long studies of political leadership (see his "The Political Elite of Iran," Princeton University Press, 1971, for example) and his successful courses on leadership at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
Zonis teaches that business executives must mobilize and inspire their personnel to dedicated and passionate participation in the work place during a period when the promise of ever more abundant material rewards may no longer exist. Zonis's executive education sessions have been organized around the ways in which business leadership can generate that dedication and passion and thus be a potent weapon of competitive success.
Zonis also consults on global risk and succeeding in the global economy with numerous companies in the Fortune 500 including Fidelity Investments, Barclays, TOTAL, and Deutsche Asset Management.
